How the waitlist works

1. Join the waitlist. Fill in our waitlist form. It takes about two minutes and there is no cost or commitment.
2. We get in touch. We will confirm we have received your details and keep you updated as opening approaches.
3. Visit us. We will invite you to a tour or open house so you can see the centre and meet the team.
4. Receive an offer. When a space that fits your child's age and start date becomes available, we will contact you with an offer and next steps.

Help with child care costs

The Government of British Columbia has several programs that can lower what families pay for licensed child care. Eligibility and amounts change, so please check the official pages for current details.

• Affordable Child Care Benefit: a monthly payment to help eligible families with the cost of child care. The amount depends on things like family income, family size and the type of care. Families apply directly and renew every year.
• Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative: funding paid to participating licensed providers to lower monthly fees for families. Parents do not need to apply. SILA's participation: [TBC: confirm once approved]
• $10 a Day ChildCareBC Centres: a province-wide network of centres with reduced fees. SILA's status: [TBC: confirm]
